1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 3/4 cup sifted flour
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Stir in canned milk. Sift flour, sida and salt and add to other ingredients. Drop by spoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Frosting:
Heat 2 T butter until golden brown. Beat in 2 cups powdered sugar and add 1/4 cup canned milk and beat until smooth. Cookies are good with or without frosting. You can add nuts to top of frosting if desired.
