1 stick butter
1 c. chopped onion
½ c. chopped green peppers
½ c. pimentos
3 c. cooked and chopped chicken
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 soup cans of milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. egg noodles (cooked in chicken broth)
10 oz. cheddar cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Sauté first 3 ingredients until tender in butter. Add chicken, soup and milk. Cook 1 pkg. egg noodles and drain. Grate cheddar cheese and add noodles (reserve 1 c. cheese for topping). Put in greased casserole dish and bake about 30 minutes at 325º. Just before taking dish from oven add the other cup of cheese to the top and melt.
