1/2 cup Toor dal
1/4 cup moong dal split with shell
1/8 cup chana dal
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp masoor dal
1/2 tsp haldi powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup tomato paste
1/4 cup oil
1/2 tsp raw jeera
1 tsp lime juice
2 tej patta
pinch of hing

TO MAKE DAL
Soak all dal for 2 hr

Remove water from dal then Mix dal with 4 cup water , haldi and salt .
Bring this to boil then do medium/ low heat for 20 to 30 minutes till medium cooked ( not over or under cooked)

Keep made dal separate.

MAKING BAGAR SAUCE/OIL FOR DAL

Heat oil in a pan . When heated put Jeera, tejpatta and later hing. Add tomato paste and 1/4 cup water.
Boil then cook covered in low heat for 10 mnts
Keep it separate.


Final Dal when serving—-

Heat dal . Mix tomato sauce. Add lime and serve
