Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Moong Dal yellow - 1/4 cup
Moong Dal green - 1/4 Cup
Saunf - 1 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1 1/2 tsp
Ginger - 1/4 Inch cube
Green Chili - 1 or 2
Corriender Powder - 2 tsp
Hing - 1/8 tsp
Corriender leaves (a few sticks to add color and freshness)
Salt to taste.

Directions:
Directions:
Wash the green and yellow moong Dal together and soak in warm water for 2 to 3 hours. In a blender combine the Dal with saunf, Jeera, ginger, green chili, corriender powder, corriender leaves (if available) and salt to taste. Blend to a smooth paste by adding water and making sure the batter is of smooth flowing consistency to spread and make the chilhas (crepes).

Heat non stick frying pan. Season with a dash of oil. Spread the batter taking 2/3 tablespoons full at a time and spreading into round crepes just like how you spread dosa batter to cook dosas. Add few drops of oil as needed. Cover and cook on medium heat for a minute. It will start to leave the sides of pan. Flip and cook other side for a couple of minutes and then remove from heat. Make the rest of the batter into chilhas (crepes) and store in an insulated cassseroll.

Enjoy it hot with either plain yogurt, pickles or green chutney. This is a very healthy recipe with very low fat and plenty of proteins and good for vegan diet. It is quick and easy to make and very delicious.
