Bacon drippings
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 can stewed tomatoes or 5 fresh tomatoes, peeled and diced
1 can water
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Fry approximately 6 slices bacon. Remove bacon. To the bacon drippings add tomatoes and 1 c. water (more if needed). Salt and pepper to taste. Let this come to a boil and simmer until tomatoes are mushy; thicken with flour to a gravy consistency.
Best served on top of hot baking powder biscuits or cornbread.
