Eight cardamom seeds, cracked
2-4 cinnamon sticks
8 cloves
1 cup water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 gallon Port wine
1-2 cups brown sugar
6 -10 sugar cubes
6 prunes, optional
˝ cup raisins, optional
˝ pint grain alcohol
1 pint brandy or rum

Directions:
Directions:
Boil cardamom seeds, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and 1 tbsp. sugar in 1 cup of water for one minute. This is now your spice mixture.

Combine Port wine, brown sugar, sugar cubes, prunes, and raisins in large kettle with spice mixture.
Simmer for 20 minutes, turn off for 1 minute.

Stir in grain alcohol and brandy (or rum). Wait 1 minute.
Burn 1 minute.

Let set 10-11 days, stirring occasionally.
