Notes: I remember my mom (Aunt Janice) making these every Christmas. They're very good, but very rich. One year, she put them in the garage to cool. Someone left the garage door open (probably my brother, Jeff) and some squirrels snuck in and ate a good part of the minty brownies before the chocolate layer was put on top. WOW was she angry, hahah. Don't know if Texas ever gets cold enough to cool food in the garage, but beware of little critters who may be interested in your yummy dessert!
