2 cups sifted all purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
¾ cup shortening ( if halving this recipe 6 Tablespoons)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1 pkg semi sweet chocolate chips
½ cup coconut
½ cup pecans chopped

Directions:

Mix flour, salt, soda, and baking powder together.
In separate bowl beat eggs, sugars, shortening and vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix. Fold in Oats. Add chocolate chips, coconut and pecans. Dough is crumbly. Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes.
