Directions:
Brown Hamburger (with chopped onions - optional)
Peal and slice potatoes. Put a layer of sliced potatoes on the bottom of a 2 quart casserole dish, then a layer of hamburger. Sprinkle the rice on top of the hamburger then salt & pepper. I like to squirt on a little ketchup. You could also put sautéed onions on. Then put a layer of peas and carrots and top off with another layer of sliced potatoes. Pour the soup over the top making sure it gets to the bottom.
Bake at 375 for 2 hours.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The Grandma's didn't use the ketchup and onions, unless it was cooked with the hamburger. And they always put the hamburger in the casserole uncooked but I didn't feel like the hamburger was cooked enough so I cook it before. It takes 2 Hours to cook the rice and potatoes.
