4 ½ Cups Unbleached Flour or part wheat
½ Cup Sugar – can use brown sugar
1/3 Cup Shortening
2 ½ tsp Yeast – (Saf-instant) (If using part wheat flour increase to 3 tsp yeast, more for whole wheat.)
1 ½ tsp Salt

Put in bread maker on dough setting or mix and knead for ten minutes then let rise for 45 minutes, punch down dough, let rise another 45 minutes. Shape into rolls or bread and let rise about two hrs. - More on a cold day.
Bake 350 for 14 to 15 minutes
