"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 ½ cups Flour
¼ cup Sugar
¼ cup Butter, softened
1 tsp Salt
2 ¼ tsp yeast
¼ cup very warm water
¾ cup very warm milk
1 large egg
½ cup Butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 2 ½ cups of flour, sugar, butter, salt, and yeast in large bowl. Add warm water, milk, and egg. Mix on low speed for 1 minute, then stir in enough of the remaining flour to make the dough easy to handle. Knead in mixer for 5 minutes, or by hand for 7-10 minutes, until dough is smooth and springy. Place dough in a greased bowl, then cover it and allow it to rise in a warm place until double. (I like to heat my oven to its lowest temperature, then turn it off and put the bowl of dough inside the oven along with a small pan of boiling water to raise the humidity. The dough raises much faster this way!)
Melt remaining butter. Pour ½ of it into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish and spread it across the bottom.
Roll out dough and cut into circles, dipping both sides in remaining butter and folding into a half circle before placing each roll into the prepared baking dish. (Melt more butter if needed—make them ultra-buttery for the best reviews!)
Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes.
