1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 cup hot water
4 large. potatoes, sliced
3/4 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In microwave in covered casserole sauté onion in butter about 2 minutes. Add flour and stir well. Add water. Microwave until sauce is thickened, stirring several times about 5 to 6 minutes. Add potatoes, stir to coat. Covered on high 12 to 18 minutes until tender. Stir several times while cooking. Top with Cheddar cheese. Let stand covered until cheese melts.
