1 Pt. Buttermilk
1 t. Salt
Flour to make a thick batter.
2 t. Baking Soda
1 Egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Buttermilk, Salt and Flour to make a thick batter. Let stand overnight in a warm place.
In the morning, add remaining ingredients. The batter should "foam like yeast".
Lightly grease a skillet with cooking spray, butter, or oil. Heat stovetop or griddle to 350 degrees.
Fry each griddle cake until it is puffy and bubbly, turning to brown on the other side.
Serve hot.
