Ingredients: Shortbread layer 1 cup coconut flour 1/2 cup maple syrup 1/2 cup melted refined coconut oil 1 tsp vanilla extract
Caramel layer 1/2 cup water 2 cups pitted medjool dates 1/4 cup refined coconut oil 1/4 cup almond butter 1 tsp salt
Chocolate layer Bag vegan chocolate chips 1 15 oz can coconut cream 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2nd option chocolate layer 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/2 raw cacao powder 3 tbsp maple syrup 1 pinch sea salt 1/2 tsp almond extract

Directions:Grease a 8 by 8 square pan.Blend the short bread layer in a food processor . Pat into pan and than put in the freezer. .Caramel layer, blend all ingredients in the food processor, take pan out of freezer and press caramel layer into the pan. Put back in freezer and make the chocolate layer,Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Stir in coconut oil and vanilla. While still hot pour over the caramel layer and top with nuts. Chill for about a hour before serving,Keep in the frig. |
