10 ounce mixed greens (or use spinach and arugula)
1/2 cup sliced red onion (optional)
1 pear, cored and sliced
1/2 cup chopped candied pecans (heat 1/2 cup pecans with 1/4 cup sugar until caramelized)
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

For the dressing:
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup walnut oil

Directions:
Directions:
Toss salad greens with red onion, pear, pecans and blue cheese.
Blend dressing ingredients thoroughly adding walnut oil slowly until creamy.
Serve immediately.
