3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. Spanish nuts
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/4 c. real butter

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, water and corn syrup until it threads. Add butter and peanuts. Cook slowly up to 300 stirring occasionally. Add baking soda and vanilla. It will foam up. Spread thin. Break with knife handle and cool.
