1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 14 oz. bag of caramels
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cake according to directions. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan and pour 1/2 of the batter into the pan. Put this 1/2 of cake in to bake at 350º for 15 minutes. In a saucepan, over low heat, melt caramel, with butter and milk. Remove cake from oven and pour the mixture from the saucepan over the half-baked cake. Top with chocolate chips and pecans. Pour the 2nd half of the cake batter over the top and return to the oven to bake for another 20 minutes at 350º.
