3 T. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. scalded milk
1 cake yeast (1 pkg.)
3 1/2 -4 c. flour, sifted
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Add butter, salt & sugar to scalded milk; cool; add yeast to lukewarm milk. Add 1 cup flour to mixture and beat smooth. Add eggs; beat again until smooth. mix in remaining flour.
Allow dough to rest covered 5 minutes then knead until smooth, about 10 minutes.
Cover & let rise in warm place until doubled; knead down. Let rise again then shape into clover leaf rolls.
