1 cup cornmeal
2 eggs
1 cup milk
½ t soda
1 t baking powder
pinch of salt
1 can cream style corn
½ cup bacon grease


½ lb ground meat
I medium inion, chopped
4 jalapeno peppers, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first group of ingredients and set aside.

Brown hamburger meat, onion, peppers and drain.

Grease large iron skillet or oven safe skillet. Pour ½ batter in skillet, sprinkle 2 cups cheese evenly over batter, top with meat mixture. Pour remaining batter on top

Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350.
