1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 T white KARO syrup
3 T cornstarch
2 T dry strawberry jello
1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced
Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first four ingredients and bring to a boil. Add the jello and a little red food coloring and cool. Fold in strawberries. Pour into a baked pie shell and chill. Serve with whipped cream topping. This can also be used for raspberry pie. Switch raspberry jello for the strawberry and 1 quarts raspberries for the strawberries.
