2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 12 ounce package milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl combine flour, sugar, and salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars together until fluffy. Add vanilla and egg. Beat well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well. Add milk, chocolate chips and nuts. Mix well. Drop by tsp 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove cookies from oven, place on cooling racks. This recipe can be doubled using one package of chocolate chips adequately.
