2 cups of ground beef or pork
1 C onion cut fine
1 t salt
1/2 t black pepper
1/2 t paprika
1 egg
1 head o cabbage
1 T flour
1 T lard or butter
1 C tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Scald cabbage and pick off the leaves. Mix the ground meat with the cooked rice, seasonings, and egg.

Fry onion and mix with meat mixture.

With a large spoon, fill the cabbage leaves with the meat mixture Folding the cabbage leaves and fastening with toothpicks.

Lay them in a large pot, add tomatoes and some water

Cook slowly for one hour, then remove and roll them in flour.

Fry until golden brown

Serve with the tomato gravy they were cooked in.
