cup butter
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
tsp cayenne pepper
tsp salt
2 cups sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, mix the butter, cheese, pepper and salt. Let come to room temperature and beat until smooth and creamy. Add the flour and beat well. Let dough rest about 30 minutes. Run through a star-shaped cookie press. Cut each strip in desired length and bake @ 350 for 15 minutes until light brown. Cool and put in a tin to keep fresh.
