1 stick butter
1 C light Karo syrup
1 C brown sugar
French bread, sliced into 1" thick slices
5 eggs
1 ½ C milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, Karo syrup, and brown sugar over low heat. Stir until it is completely melted and blended.

Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.

Line French bread slices in pan on top of syrup mixture.

Mix together eggs, milk, and vanilla. Pour over bread.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake uncovered @ 350º for 30 minutes or until light golden brown. Bake an extra 5 minutes or so if you like it a little crispier.
