1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1½ cup flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, butter and peanut butter until creamy. Add egg and vanilla and mix completely. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture and beat on low speed until well blended. Shape dough into 1½ balls. Roll in sugar. Flatten balls in criss-cross pattern with fork. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from pan.
