Cook to 280 the following:
3 cups sugar
1 cup white Karo syrup
cup water
At 280 Add 3 cups raw Spanish peanuts (1 bags)
Cook to 305
Remove from heat
Add: 2 Tablespoon oleo
Stir until melted.
Add quickly:
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking soda
Stir quickly.

Pour out onto 2 greased cookie sheets. Allow it to run freely.
Do not shake or stretch.
Set until cool, then break up.
