Ingredients:  
3 eggs, separate 2 (use 1 whole egg & 2 yolks)
5 T. sugar
1 c. Pet milk
1 c water
Nutmeg (4 or 5 sprinkles total)
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Topping:

2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
4 tsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 1 whole egg and 2 yolks slightly with a fork. Add sugar. Gradually add, while stirring, Pet milk and water. Add nutmeg and vanilla. Pour into UNBAKED pie shell. Cook at 350 degrees until sets, about 30 minutes, test with knife.

Topping: Beat egg whites add cream of tartar and sugar. Pour on top and return to oven to brown top.
