Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6-8 Irish Potatoes
3-4 carrots
3 tbsp. margarine
½ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. plain or ground celery seed
2 tsp. salt
½ cup milk
1-1½ cups grated cheese (melting kind)

Directions:
Directions:
Put enough water in pot to cover the peeled & chopped potatoes. Add carrots. When veggies are tender, add
margarine & seasonings.

Turn heat to low. Add milk & cheese. Heat just until cheese is melted. Serve hot.

When reheating, warm just until hot. Milk will curdle if boiled very long. It doesn't hurt the flavor, but, it doesn'
look as appetizing!

If you want thick potato soup, use potato masher and mash some of the potatoes to thicken up the soup.
