1 ready-made pie crust 1 T. softened butter 12 slices bacon 4 eggs 2 c. heavy cream (half & half) 1/2 t. salt dash pepper 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
Spread softened butter on bottom and sides of pie crust. Fry bacon until brown. Drain and crumble onto crust. Beat eggs; add heavy cream, salt and pepper. Beat thoroughly. Add Swiss cheese and pour entire mixture into pie crust. Bake for 15 minutes @ 425º. Reduce heat to 325º and bake for an additional 35 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes.
