½ cup Sugar
½ cup Butter
2 cups Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Nutmeg
¼ tsp Cinnamon
½ cup Currants
1 egg & ⅓ cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together butter & sugar then add next 5 ingredients, mix, then add currants then add the mixture of egg & milk.
Roll to ¼” on floured board.
Use glass to cut round shapes in dough.
Cook on preheated griddle ( Med heat) flip when golden brown.
Remove from griddle and immediately sprinkle with sugar.
