1 lb. ground beef
5 med size cubed potatoes
5 sliced carrots
1 tsp. sugar
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
garlic powder
onion powder

Brown meat with seasonings & sugar.
Put all ingredients in large simmer pot.(6 qts.)
Cover all with water, 1 inch above ingredients.
Simmer all day, and or/all evening, in regard to serving time.

Also works great in Slow Cooker/Crock Pot. Assemble all, after meat and dry ingredients are browned together.
Cook all day for night meal, cook all night for a noon meal.

Fresh cornbread sets this off, to be a great meal.
