Notes: "Eggs and Dates" There was an alcove in the house where the eggs were candled, Georgia and Helen had to candle the eggs before going out on their Friday night dates. Barbara explained to us, "I offered to help them thinking that I could go too." Aunt Georgie and Aunt Helen gave the job of cleaning all of the chicken poop off the eggs to Barbara. Barbara did her job, but was not invited to go out on a date with either Georgia or Helen. So she went in and cried to Grandma, "I even cleaned all of the poop off of the eggs, and still didn't get to go."
