1 c sugar
¼ tsp salt
1 c light corn syrup
¼ c butter
⅔ c evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all but vanilla. Cook low to firm ball 245º stirring constantly. Add vanilla, pour into buttered 8 in x 9 in pan. Cool completely. Cut into small pieces, wrap in waxed paper. You have to cut ahead of time.

This is a great recipe, because it's Andrew's favorite. He took a batch to school one day and Mom had made it a little more chewy than it's supposed to be. As a result, a friend (Jordan Iverson) lost a tooth that day.
