Nan Sexton

2 lb. bag frozen hashbrown potatoes
1 can cream of chicken soup undiluted
1 can evapoirated milk
pint sour cream
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
onion powder
extra sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
hand-crushed corn flakes

Mix first 6 ingredients together and spread in a 9 x 13 pan.
Cover the top with cheddar cheese...
(you can experiment with other cheese)...
Cover this with crushed corn flakes; drizzle the melted butter over the entire mixture.
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
This is a very popular dish at 'bring a dish to pass dinners..'

This is a great tasting dish...but it does have a lot of butter in it...
Still for special occasions...it is worth the cholesterol...

The glow of a candle warms the chill of a blustry day...
