½ lb butter
½ c shortening
3 c cake flour
3 c sugar
5 eggs, beaten
½ tsp baking powder
¼ c milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c sour cream
1 tsp lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream until fluffy, butter, sugar, shortening, and adding 1 at a time, 5 eggs; beat well. Sift together flour, and baking powder. Add alternately to creamed sugar mixture, dry ingredients. Then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 300º for 1½ hours.
