2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup oil
1 tsp. vanilla
5 cups flour (or a little less)
2 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, oil, and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.

Bake at 350º for 12 to 14 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.. (May use parchment paper). Yields 7-8 doz. cookies.
