8 cups (about 6 medium) tart apples, sliced and peeled
2 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1 cup huts, chopped
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup brown sugar and cinnamon. Cream butter and remaining brown sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in flour and 1/2 cup nuts. Spread over apples. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
