½ c butter or margarine
½ c peanut butter
½ c sugar
½ c brown sugar
1 egg
½ tsp vanilla
1¼ c sifted flour
¾ tsp soda
¼ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture, shape in 1 inch balls; roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart in ungreased cookie sheet. Here's the tricky part, atop each cookie criss-cross with fork lines. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly; remove from pan.
