4 cups fresh peaches peeled, sliced, and cut each slice in smaller pieces.
Sweeten peaches with sugar to taste. Fresh or frozen peaches are not sweetened. *You have to sweeten them.
4 cups evaporated milk as Pet or Carnation brand.
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla
teaspoon salt
5 cups whole milk

Whether you use fresh or frozen peaches you have to sweeten them to taste before mixing into the ice cream mix They should be sweet to taste. If using frozen peaches thaw the peaches and sweeten.
Beat together the eggs add salt, and sugar.
Beat in evaporated milk. Add vanilla and 5 cups of milk. Mix thoroughly.
Pour into Clean Ice cream can. Fill the ice cream can to the fill line with more milk.

If you want strawberry ice cream just change peaches to strawberries. Sweeten and mash or slice. Changing to plain vanilla add cup of sugar to Ice cream mix, just don't add fruit.

Place can with ice cream mix into bucket. Layer ice and ice cream salt around the can between the bucket and can. Plug up, cover top of bucket with ice and ice cream salt. Monitor ice cream churning as it may get stuck or need more ice and salt.
