Ingredients:  
Basic Roll Dough (Good for dinner rolls too)
3 1/2 cup flour
1 package of dry yeast (fast raise)
1 1/4 cup of milk
1/4 sup sugar
1/4 cup of shortening
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg

Filling
1 cup of sugar
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

For Dough
soften butter or margarine

Glaze
1 cup powered sugar
1 tablespoon mike (can use more as needed until reach desired consistency)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 1/2 cup of flour and yeast
Heat (med low) milk, sugar, shortening, and salt till warm. Stirring constantly till shortening melts.
Add to flour/yeast mixture
Add egg
Beat at low speed of mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping the bowl
Beat 3 minutes on high speed
By hand stir in remaining flour
Shape into a ball
Place in lightly greased bowl; turn once to grease the surface
Cover and let rise till double in size (1 1/2 - 2 hours) - I have let rise overnight
Punch down, Turn onto floured surface; cover and let rest for 10 minutes
Roll out into rectangle
Complete cover with soften butter
Mix 3 filling ingredients
Sprinkle with filling mixture (don't go all the way to edge)
Roll very tightly
Form dough into circle on backing sheet
Cut at 1 inch intervals - then flip over sideways (can look in betty crocker cookbook for pictures)

Bake at 350 until golden brown (25 to 40 minutes)
Let cool for a few minutes

Mix glaze and spread on swedish tea ring
