1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup butter oil
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
5 cups flour
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Cream sugar, eggs and butter; add oil; mix well. Add dry ingredients. You can also add a little lemon or almond extract.

Roll into 3 or 4 rolls on wax paper. Put in refrigerator to chill. Slice and place on greased cookie sheet. Press down with tumbler dipped in sugar.

Bake for 10 minutes.
