Personal Notes:
TBT: When one of my mom's (Aunt Omadeen's) good friends was drafted in 1943, he didn't know where he would be stationed after sailing out of San Francisco Bay. She told him if he got to Hawaii, to send her a grass skirt. Guess what came in the mail? When he left there, the next letter began with six non sequitur sentences. The first letter of each of those sentences spelled out K O D I A K, letting her know they had moved on to Alaska.
