2 sticks butter
½ tsp salt
1 cup shortening
½ tsp baking powder
3 cups sugar
5 Tbsp cocoa
5 eggs
1 cup milk
3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan. Cream together butter, shortening and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture alternately milk and vanilla, beating after each addition. Pour into tube pan, and bake at 325 for 1 ½ hours. Cool in pan 5 minutes.
