2 stalks of celery, thinly sliced
One small onion, finely chopped
˝ stick of margarine
1 1/2 tsp. Chicken base
1 tsp dry parsley flakes
1-14˝ ounce can chicken broth
2 cups instant white rice

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2-quart saucepan, combine celery, onion and margarine. Sauté until tender. Add chicken base and stir. Add parsley and chicken broth. Bring to a rolling boil. Turn off heat. Add rice and cover.

Let stand until water is absorbed into rice. Fluff with a fork and serve.

This works best with instant rice. If normal rice is used, cooking time will need adjusted.
