Best made with kosher chicken thighs and drumsticks but a whole chicken, cut into 16 pieces willl do.
1 large onion
1/2 jar roasted red peppers
1 large jar Prego tomato sauce (garlic and onion is best)
1/2 small can Contadina tomato paste
Plastic bag with flour
1 T minced garlic
Lawry’s garlic salt
1/2 cup Olive oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Wash chicken well. Cut onion into slices. Shake chicken pieces in flour bag until lightly coated. Season with garlic salt. Sauté onions in oil until clear, add garlic. Let cook a few minutes, then put chicken in skillet, skin side down. Cook for five minutes then turn chicken over, cook for three minutes. Place peppers around chicken pieces, pour on mixture of sauce and paste. Cover chicken well. Add a bit of water if the sauce is too thick.
Place in 400 degree oven for 1 hour.

Serve over favorite pasta.
