1-2 pounds lean hamburger, cooked in chunks
2-3 pound red potatoes, washed, unpeeled and cubed
1 package dry onion soup mix
2-3 T cornstarch
1 pound baby carrots, cut in half
other vegetables (optional)
1/2-1 T Kitchen Bouquet
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, combine hamburger, carrots, potatoes, other vegetables and dry onion soup mix and cover with water. Add salt and pepper to taste and simmer until vegetables are barely tender. Add cornstarch to water and stir until dissolved. Pour half of cornstarch mixture into stew and gently stir in. When thickened, pour remainder of cornstarch in (if you want it thicker) and stir until thickened. Serve with biscuits.
