3½ to 4½ cups non-sifted flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages yeast
1 cup milk
½ cup water
½ stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ½ flour with sugar, salt, and yeast. Place milk, water, butter in a saucepan on low heat. Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes. Add ½ cup flour and beat for two minutes. Stir in enough flour to make soft dough. Knead about 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl. Place bowl in a pan of warm water. Let rise 15 minutes. Shape and let rise 15 minutes. Bake at 425º for 12 minutes.
