1 Lb smoked sausage (your choice)
¼ tsp salt.
1 Lb can Sauerkraut
½ tsp celery salt
3 Tbsp Bacon Drippings
½ tsp dill seed
1 Small onion, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Medium Apple, peeled, cored & thinly sliced
½ cup cold water
1/8 tsp blk. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse sauerkraut, put in heavy medium size pan, heat bacon drippings, add onions to saute. Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT SAUSAGE. Cover and cook slowly for 15 minutes or until apple slices are soft. Add quartered sausage and continue cooking covered until sausage is heated through.
