Ingredients:  
2 C. scalded milk 1 C. sugar
C. shortening 2 pkg. Yeast
C. warm water 7 C. flour
1 C. mashed potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk, add shortening, then cool to lukewarm. Soften yeast in warm water; add to lukewarm milk. Add to milk mixture, sugar, salt, eggs, potatoes and 3 cups flour. Continue mixing and adding flour until soft dough is formed. Knead gently. Place in greased bowl and rise until double in bulk. Roll out and cut in desired shapes and let rise double. Bake 375 degrees until light brown.
