4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
4 T grated orange peel
4 cups sugar
4 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
4 eggs
2 cups chopped nuts
8 cups all purpose flour
6 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
3 cups orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare loaf pans (with wax paper) prepare cranberries, nuts, orange peel, set aside. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, soda, cut in shortening, add orange juice, egg and peel. Fold in cranberry and nuts and bake 60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing wax paper.
